Ways to Learn Piano Notes

Reading piano notes involves learning different concepts and it requires a lot of practice. The time and the key signature in both the treble clef and the bass should be properly understood and it is important in reading the piano music sheet and in reading the actual note. This artcile will discuss a few memorization tricks that will help you interpret the piano notes easily.

The piano muic sheet is composed of two clefs. Each clef has notes in the lines and spaces which read differently. The notes start from A down to G and back again. For instance, if you begin C the next white key is D and E would come after. When the note pattern ends at G, it will start from the very beginning thus A will come after G. Since reading the actual piano notes from the sheet music is a little tucky, using the acronyms is a very good technique in the memorization process.

Typically, the right hand is used to play the treble clef. You can always see the lines that contains the notes E-G-B-D-F on the music sheet. You can form the acronym - Every Good Boy Does Fine - if you look closely at the notes. On the treble clef, you can also see spaces that is composed of the notes F-A-C. Its easy to memorize since the word "FACE" is quite familiar to everybody.

The left hand is used to play the bass clef. You can memorize it eaily, you just have to use some acronyms. You can eaily remember the notes G-B-D-F-A as an acronym for "Great Big Dogs Fight Animals"." On the bass clef, the spaces represent the notes A-C-E-G and you can say it as "All Cows eat Grass."

These are the best ways on how to remember all the notes without difficulty. It is just plain and simple yet it could be very helpful especially to those people who are having a hard time memorizing the notes. If you have a better idea, you can also try and make your own acronyms. You just have to make something that you can memorize easily. You can read all the notes withou even having these acronyms with speed and accuracy if you practice. In this way, you will later on be a pro in interpreting piano notes.
