I may not know and awful lot about music but an acoustic electric guitar sounds like a contradiction in terms. When my boyfriend said that he wanted one of these musical instruments for his birthday, I initially thought that he was joking. Of course, he knew exactly what it was once he saw the gift-wrapped box but he had no idea how nice the acoustic electric guitar would be. He quickly discovered how nice this musical instrument really is in just one glance. He mentioned that the gig bag that comes with the guitar is a real treat, too.

He does have a more expensive electric guitar that he takes when he plays with his band. The acoustic electric guitar makes for great back up in case something goes wrong with his steady instrument. With how good his new guitar sounds, he may be taking the acoustic electric guitar on the road with him as his primary instrument.
